I do not remember coming across this or how I found it. The original blog I found this on is called Plain Chicken which is a blog I have been following since I was first interested in cooking.
You will need garlic salt, black pepper, boneless chuck roast, can of coke, chili sauce, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, cornstarch, milk, grits, chicken broth, ranch, and shredded cheddar cheese.
When making this, have an easy and light vegetable on the side. This was very heavy with the meat and grits but it was so delicious. This will be perfect for those winter months because it spends all day in the slow cooker and is good for sticking to the bones.
For the can of coke, I used Dr. Pepper because it is such a staple in Texas but I would like to try with again with a regular coke as well. I also added a little bit more ranch just because of how much I love it, and also there wasn't much left so I emptied it.
Here is the link for the original recipe if you ever decide you want to try it. https://www.plainchicken.com/bbq-pot-roast-over-cheddar-ranch-grits/
