This recipe was on Pinterest but under my Valentine's Day board. Would I make this for Valentine's Day? Maybe. But probably not but this is good for a regular meal.
This recipe is on a food blog called Julia's Album. She gives a brief description of the meal and then talks about the pasta she used and suggests some seafood to go with it if you prefer. She also gives some substitutions for some of the ingredients involved which I think is nice. When I try a new recipe I feel like I need to have the right ingredient so having a list of what else I can use is helpful. She also gives some cooking tips and some suggested side dishes.
This recipe calls for olive oil, yellow onions, salt, balsamic vinegar, cremini mushrooms, spinach, half and half, parmesan cheese, and the farfalle pasta. You will also need a large skillet and pot. First, you make the onions which surprisingly took the longest. After onions then you make the mushrooms and spinach. And then pasta but I at least got the water boiling ready while preparing everything else so it was ready to go.
This is a great recipe if you are a vegetarian. You can add meat if you like but I like to have some meatless dishes for myself. If I were to add anything it would be some type of seafood.
This made enough for us with a little bit leftover so it's perfect for a family of 4.
