Halloween Vase

I found this idea on Pinterest. It was so unique and when you think about it, super easy to make!

First, to make this you need all the equipment. You will need a plain vase, a hot glue gun with some glue sticks, and some black spray paint. You will also need a tarp and a mask and/or eye protectors. If you find yourself a plastic little spider, you could also add that into the design.

How I made my vase was I found a spider web design online that was easy for me to replicate and started following it with a hot glue gun on the vase. It was a little tricky because the glue dries fast and if you miss a beat, the design will look off. I did pretty well, missed a beat on some of the smaller areas, but the black spray paint helps cover those. Which is the next part, spray the whole thing black. Do this when the glue is completely dry. Then spray a couple of times until you are happy with the color.

Then fill with any flowers you want. For me, this is a classic vase with a unique design and for my favorite holiday. It's an easy DIY project, easy enough for anyone to do. But, for a child, they will need adult supervision.
