Starlight Theatre Restaurant and Saloon

When my husband and I were planning our vacations, I was in charge of picking places to eat and this was our first stop on the dinner train. I found this place on Yelp.

When telling people about visiting Terlingua, everyone who has visited there brought up this place so it was very popular.

The inside of the restaurant was not what I was expecting. There is a stage where local people or traveling artists could perform. There are a couple of tables around the stage area for people to watch but also be served. Then there is another area that is mainly a restaurant with a bar. There is some seating outside.

On their menu, they have lots of interesting things. They have stuff for kids, regular beverages, wine, beer, margaritas, appetizers, and lots of feature presentations. I ordered the "Kathy's Cosmic Cowgirl" margarita. It has jalapeno, hornitos, and prickly pear nectar. This is my favorite margarita ever. Nothing has come close to how good this It's that perfect mix of sweet and spicy. I love sweet drinks but I love spicy margaritas!! For dinner, I ordered their award-winning chili. I was so disappointed because for me it was just ground meat with cheese and chopped onions on top. I wish I would have ordered something else but next time.

Overall, we spent less than 40 dollars. On Yelp, this has a rating of 4 stars out of 320 reviews.
