My Role Model

I look up to many people. Some famous some not. But right now the person I look up to most would be my mom. Yes, a very typical answer.

Asked me 10 years ago though it would have been Hilary Duff or Selena Gomez.

These past 5 years I finally realized how much help she has given me and and when I need a listening ear, she provides.

When I need a baby sitter for the cats, she volunteers. She goes out of her way to help me with something. She watches movies that she would never be interested in because I asked.

That is something my husband is still learning.

Not all moms are superheroes but mine is. And I forget that sometimes.
