Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade

I'm not sure how exactly I came across this recipe but I'm not sorry about it.

This recipe is originally from a blog called, "Life as a Strawberry." I'm not very familiar with this blog but after this recipe I will be keeping my eyes out for more!

This is a drink perfect for summer drinking! I am not a whiskey fan but I did enjoy this. My husband didn't like it as much. He says it reminds him of drinking wine. Don't know how he came to that conclusion since he doesn't drink wine but to each their own.

This was a very easy recipe to make. The longest part was making the blackberry syrup but all it is just having the blackberries cooked with some water and sugar for about 15 minutes. Beware, blackberries will stain wooden spoons!! That was interesting to see.

If anyone has any recipes that involve blackberry syrup, will you please share!! I would love to try something different with it.
